National Register Number: 66000940
Significance: This building was associated with a major function of the Naval Air Station on Ford Island during World War II. It was used in training pilots who then went on to serve in the Pacific theater. The ability of the United States to quickly train pilots in large numbers was an advantage in this war where aviation played such a large role.
